The National Geographic Visitor Center provides the ultimate place to prepare for your Grand Canyon Adventure and is home to the World’s most watched IMAX® film ever. Grand Canyon – The Hidden Secrets, a spectacular 34 minute film, explores the innermost depths of Grand Canyon, taking viewers to places they could never go all through the startling immersive reality of IMAX®. The film moves through time, starting with the mysterious Anasazi who inhabited the Canyon 4,000 years ago, to Major John Wesley Powell’s challenges in conquering the unexplored Canyon and raging Colorado River in 1869. The movie shows every hour on the half hour beginning at 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.

The Explorer’s Café located within the Visitor Center has recently remodeled their dining area and has expanded their menu items. Guests can enjoy a variety of food and beverages including Pizza (Pizza Hut Express), Fresh Deli Sandwiches, Wings, Beer, Wine and much more!

The Visitor Center offers convenient guest services such as Grand Canyon information, free maps, National Geographic Store, book tour reservations, and you can purchase your National Park Pass here. Once you have purchased your pass (which is good for everyone in your group), you can take the FREE National Park and Ride Shuttle located in front of the National Geographic Visitor Center. Shuttle is available until October 9, 2016. We have ample parking and can accommodate RV’s.
