After a day spent enjoying a wilderness train ride or an up close wildlife encounter head on over to the Blazin’ M Ranch for a rip roarin’, rootin’ tootin’ cowboy dinner and show. Nestled in a riparian forest tucked along the river behind Dead Horse Ranch State Park, the Blazin’ M Ranch features a western town full of fun shops, games, local history, a well-stocked saloon as well as friendly barnyard critters eager to pose for photos (or you can dress up in vintage garb and pose for your own).
Target practice with a real live Colt 45 (filled with wax bullets) can win a free desert for the best bulls-eye shot of the night! The dinner bell rings and a delicious western barbecue meal features delectable chicken and fall-off-the-bone ribs with an assortment of scrumptious sides.
When the lights dim the show begins and guests are entertained by the very talented Blazin’ M Cowboys, filling the barn with nimble finger pickin’, yodeling and bold voices singing western classics (with some old timey, knee slappin’ humor added for good measure, as well as some surprises).
What a fun night we enjoyed at the Blazin’ M, drinking from tin cups, clapping, hooting, hollering, laughing and joking with old friends (and making new ones at nearby tables). The Blazin’ M Ranch is a perfect finale to any Verde Valley day.
