DAY 1 - EXPLORE GRAND CANYON SOUTH RIM

What better way to start your adventure in Northern Arizona then at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon. Make sure to stop by the National Geographic IMAX Visitor’s Center first to get in-depth information about the Canyon and local area. Visitor Center staff is available to help you plan your visit to make the most out of your trip with a multitude of educational resources. There are also interactive exhibits and most notably, the IMAX Experience-Hidden Secrets. This movie experience, unlike any other, gives visitors a whole new perception of how grand the Canyon really is, on its six story movie screen! Hey, maybe this is the reason on average folks only spend 8 minutes looking at the Grand Canyon, they’ve already seen the best of it at the IMAX.

DAY 2 - DISCOVER WILDLIFE
Bearizona Wildlife Park
Next head south an hour to Bearizona Wildlife Park. This adventure allows visitors to drive into the Arizona wilderness and witness herd and pack like from their own vehicles. An automated GPS device guides guests along the driving tour and offers information about the different animal species. Bearizona features a wide range of North American animals including Big Horn Sheep, Bison, Wolves Bears and more! After the driving portion folks park the car and walk through Fort Bearizona to view baby and smaller animals on exhibit. There is also a petting zoo, Birds of Prey show and Nocturnal Mine Shaft Experience. Be sure to stop by their gift shop and pick up a tasty treat from the snack shack before heading off to your next adventure.

DAY 3 - Experience the Caverns
Grand Canyon Caverns
Load up and make the easy drive to Peach Springs to explore the Grand Canyon Caverns. These caverns located on the famous Route 66 and are the largest dry caverns in the U.S. Upon arrival, you’ll head 200-300 feet below ground via the exploration elevator. Cavern tours are easily accessible along paved walkways with handrails, but for the adventure seeker they offer off-path ‘Explorers Tours’. Finish your evening with a stay 220 feet below ground in the one-of-a-kind cavern suite which sleeps 6.
